Join us as we honor and remember 41 lives LOST in 2019

All fellow residents of Durham County taken from us by violence in 2019, over 85% (36 of 41) ended by gunshot wounds. Each one a tragic reminder of nearly 900 more lives in 28 years, similarly snatched away and still powerfully missed. Every one an immeasurable loss to our community. By gathering together in vigil, we extend comfort to victims' friends and families, declare our right to live in safety, and affirm our common bond.

This 28th Annual Vigil Against Violence will be held Thursday, February 27th at 7:00 pm in Shepherd's House United Methodist Church (107 North Driver Street).

A public reception will follow at 8:00 pm. Vigil sponsored by the Religious Coalition for a Nonviolent Durham. All are welcome.
